I find it amazing, and a little sad, that many people who want to become successful Forex traders try to learn Forex all by themselves from websites, books or trial and error. The fact is… Forex trading is too valuable a skill to just “try out” or “dabble in”. It should be taken seriously… which means you should choose a serious, REAL trader as your Forex mentor.
Just think about it…
- When we were growing up we had our teachers…
- When we wanted to learn a sport we had our coaches…
- And when we want to EXCEL at our profession we look to those that paved the way for guidance.
So why should it be any different for Forex trading… which has the power to potentially change your life and financial future?
The truth is… if you want to succeed as a profitable Forex trader, the fastest and easiest route is to find a Forex mentor and dedicate yourself to learning what they have to teach!
Caution When Choosing A Forex Mentor…
Some people think the best way to choose a Forex mentor is to ask, “Who is the best Forex trader?”… and then follow that person. But it is much more complicated than that. You need to find the right Forex mentor that is right for YOU!
Let me explain…
There are many ways to trade the Forex markets. There are many methods and strategies. Each mentor has their own trading personality and way of teaching. So, it does no good just to pick the “best” Forex trader and decide to follow them. You need to dig a little deeper and find a Forex trader with a proven track record who can best teach you a trading system that fits YOUR trading personality, goals and expections.
- If you don’t like your Forex mentor personally… you won’t follow him/her.
- If you don’t want to trade the time frames or currencies your Forex mentor trades… you will abandon him/her.
- If you don’t learn best the way your Forex mentor teaches… you won’t benefit from following him/her.
